SPEC® Heavy Duty compression springs offer quality chrome silicon alloy steel for maximum load & life. Springs have an engineered cross-section that is neither round nor square, but instead rectangular with rounded corners. Material is Chrome Silicon per Associated Spring Specification SV 9254. All parts are right hand wound helix. Spring ends are squared & ground flat. Spring rates are +/- 15%. Parts are designed to fit over a shaft or in a hole/pocket; dimensioned ID and OD provide sufficient clearance for operation. Technical terminology is defined in the FAQ section.
